Brian was talking to Markus, sitting in the very comfortable lounge room of his Mediterranean seaside cottage. He was just about to ask about the members of his soul family when there was a knock on the door and a tall man, who appeared to be in his early thirties, entered. Brian intuitively recognized this man as a member of his soul family. While Brian could not remember his name, the man looked very familiar, and deep down Brian knew they had shared many experiences together and there was a lot of love between them.

Without saying a word the man created a chair for himself and sat quietly next to Markus. They both proceeded to show Brian some images from his past-life experiences. One life saw this new man and Brian fighting together as Roman soldiers, in another life they were Franciscan monks. Brian’s head started to spin trying to take it all in. Although this man was not part of his immediate past life, Markus told Brian they would be reunited in his next life, my current life. “All this will be explained later,” Markus said when he saw Brian’s look of confusion.

“My next life!” Brian said. “I’ve only just finished one, and you’re already talking about another one.”

Several other people then came into the house and, in some strange way, Brian knew them all, even though he did not remember them from his last life. It was like going away for a long time, coming home and seeing friends and family you had not seen for many years. It was at the same time strange and wonderfully exciting.

Brian found out later they all lived nearby, and that they would see a lot of each other from then on. They were not members of his immediate soul family, but were from neighboring soul groups. When he asked why they were all living in a Greek village, Markus explained with a smile that each soul creates their own reality. While Brian saw his surroundings as a Mediterranean fishing village, they saw and experienced what they had created for themselves. Brian made a mental note to ask them next time he saw them where they were living.

Markus also informed Brian that the first man who came to visit was preparing to return to earth, but that his life was not going to be a long one. The Elders had decided Brian and he would have another life together and that this person would be his son. Brian then recalled that this man, who he had fought alongside as a Roman soldier and lived with as a fellow monk, was the one who had come to see him when he first crossed over. He was there having tea with Brian’s grandmother. Yet it all seemed so long ago, so much had happened since then.

Reading Brian’s confused thoughts, Markus suggested they leave so Brian could think things over and start his new life quietly. The guide suggested Brian take time to
