Laikynn

Pharaoh convinced Laikynn to come to his place instead of him going to hers. She was just as enraptured by his huge window and bedroom view as he was, and tonight, he planned on using that to his advantage. He wasn’t the type to make love and be romantic, but Laikynn made him want to do those things. She made him want to cater to her. Romance her. Wine and dine her. Cherish her. Dote on her.

So, when she arrived, that’s exactly what he did. Laikynn was surprised by the gesture he’d made – roses, soft music, candlelit dinner in his bedroom by the window. And after her second glass of wine she was down to do just about anything his sexy ass asked her to do. They hadn’t talked about the events from earlier that day, but when Pharaoh reached over the table and grabbed her hand that changed.

“I don’t want you to go tomorrow.”

She tried to remove her hand from his, but he didn’t allow her to.

“Why not?”

“There are too many things that could go wrong with that. I need to handle this situation with Daniela, and Tatum needs to handle this situation with Diablo.”

“So what? You want me to just sit here and do nothing? Let the men handle it?”

“No, that’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m saying… neither of these situations has anything to do with you really, and I don’t want you getting caught up in them. You said you wanted to get out, didn’t you?”

Her shoulders caved as she breathed deeply.

“Yea, but…”

“Then let me handle this for you. I have a plan; I need you to trust me to execute it.”

“What’s the plan?”

“Daniela thinks the leverage that she has is me and my brother needing to do business with her father. If she doesn’t have that to hold over me she has nothing. Tatum needs to leave that meeting at peace with Diablo. Once they have some type of agreement made, that will clear the way for me and Caesar to work with you and Tatum instead of Diablo. If we become suppliers, we won’t need Diablo as our connect.

Then, if Daniela wants to try and start some shit, there will be nothing standing in the way of us handling it. Our money and product won’t be on the line. I’ll even let you handle her if she comes here since she’s a woman. But you have to let us go and lay the foundation first.”

“That makes sense.”

“Business must be handled first. I’m not doubting your ability to stay focused on business, but I can tell that your temper is quick. It would be best if you stayed here, gorgeous.”

“Fine. I’ll, I’ll let you handle it, Pharaoh. But if that bitch steps foot in Dallas…”

“She’s yours.”
