“Then why are you crying, Ally?” Kallum asked quietly.

“Baby?” Drew asked as dread slid through him. Had he misread her reactions?

“I don’t understand why I’m crying,” she said, swiping at the tears that continued to fall. “I loved every moment of that. I feel stronger somehow.” She dragged in a shuddering breath. “I feel better…than I have in a very long time.”

“They’re probably tears of relief,” Kallum suggested as he removed his shirt and used the soft material to dry her eyes. “Sometimes, even when we don’t think we’re worried about something, it turns out that we are.”

“That’s true,” Drew said as relief of his own washed through him. “You were brave enough to ask me for kinkier sex, but perhaps at the back of your mind you were worried that you’d freak out.”

“I suppose that makes sense,” Ally said, smiling at him through her tears once more. “I’m sorry I worried you.”

“Never be sorry for how you feel, Ally,” Kallum said before pressing an affectionate kiss to her lips. “We support each other. It’s just how marriage works.” He touched her face lovingly, his voice dropping deeper as he became very serious. “I can’t tell you how proud I am to know you. You’re truly amazing and I thank the goddess each day for bringing you and Drew into my life.”

“I love you both,” she whispered in an equally serious voice. But then her demeanor changed, and the smile on her face became playful instead. “I really, really enjoyed that, but I think we need a lot more practice before we set a date for the claiming ceremony. I’m pretty sure,” she said, rubbing her bottom against Drew’s rapidly returning erection, “that someone suggested anal sex as well.”

Drew could barely get the words past his throat. “I believe we did.” The woman in his arms shivered with renewed arousal, her soft moan all the encouragement he needed. “Bed,” Drew practically growled as he carried Ally out of the room.
