Pressure Cooker Chick’n Crack (Child friendly)

This chick’n crack recipe is really simple, easy to make and ready to be eaten in few minutes.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 9 minutes

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

1½ - 2 lbs chicken breasts

8 oz cubed cream cheese

1 - 2 tbsp of hot sauce

8 oz shredded cheddar cheese

8 burger buns

1 cup water

Pepper and salt

Directions:

1. Place the chicken breasts in the pressure cooker then add 1 cup of water. Seal the lid then close the valve and set on manual high pressure for 9 minutes.

2. Once the timer stops, allow it sit for 3 minutes then do a quick release.

3. Take out the chicken with tongs then throw away the juices. Return the chicken to the pot then shred the chicken with two forks, one at a time.

4. Add the shredded cheese, cream cheese and hot sauce then mix well. You can add a packet of ranch dressing powder if you want the traditional ranch flavor.

5. Use 2 forks to shred the chicken then add the remaining ingredients while the pan is warm and melt the cheese.

6. If the pan cools, turn on the cooker on warm then let it heat up in order to mix the cheese but be careful not to burn the cheese.

7. Season with pepper and salt then serve on buns.
