But I do use this delightful dessert cream in lots and lots of recipes. I thought I’d use this tip to remind you about the best way to work with Cool Whip Light or Cool Whip Free. Always thaw it in the refrigerator, never in the microwave or by stirring it and stirring it until it turns into soup. This means that you have to think ahead and soften your Cool Whip in advance. Or you can do what I do and always keep a container ready to go in the fridge.
