A commotion in the town center brought Robert back to the real world. He saw a growing crowd in the town center that were all pointing and looking up. He looked up and saw Alec’s airship going slowly over the town at a low altitude. Tethered below it was large bizarre looking contraption that Robert could not even fathom the purpose of. The airship was heading towards the beach and Robert joined the group of people following it to see what was going on.

When he reached the cove, the cargo had already been set down on the beach and untied from the airship, which was now hovering over the water nearby. Robert could make out Clyde disembarking from the airship and running up to the beach. Once there, he called out for help and soon two large hoses ran from the object to several yards into the water. By the time Clyde finished with the hoses, Robert had made it to the strange device.
