Red Sox third baseman Joe Foy makes a nice catch near the Twins dugout off of Minnesota’s power-hitting outfielder Bob Allison. The catch ended the fourth inning of a May 31 game at Fenway Park and came with runners on first and third and no score. Note the ball in the webbing of his glove. The Red Sox won the game 3-2.

Carl Yastrzemski receives an “attaboy” from third base coach Eddie Popowski following his home run to lead off the fourth inning. He also homered in the eighth, clinching the 3-2 win. It was the second game of the young season in which Yaz hit two homers in a game. In all, he had four two-homer games in 1967.
