Peter came into agreement with heaven, and heaven had legal access in this story. Again, we see the earth realm transformed by the Kingdom of God. Crazy isn’t it, just like people seeing birds fly for thousands of years but not realizing that flight was possible for them and thus never pursuing it. So are Christians today, not realizing that they do not have to put up with empty nets but have access to heaven’s power to help them prosper in life. The thing I want you to see here is that the same guys that came up short are the same guys that have two boats so full they are sinking!

My friend, the difference is the Kingdom, not the people. You may think you do not have a future, coming up short, with nothing working out. But in reality, all you need is the Kingdom to turn your life into a success story. Yes, you have your part to play. They had to go out fishing—they had to take care of their nets, and prepare for the catch—but anyone can catch fish if God shows you where.

Listen, the earth curse system of running and sweating cannot get it done. You cannot run fast enough or long enough to capture your dreams. God never intended for you to grit your teeth and try in your own strength to get things done.

By tapping into the laws and the promises of the Kingdom of God, we can fly instead of walk. Let me put it a different way. Although the law of gravity is still in effect, we can fly by tapping into another law, the law of lift, and enjoy a whole new way of living.

Remember, when you come to Christ, you are a member of God’s Kingdom. As a citizen, you are inferring legal rights; and as a son or daughter, you are inferring that you have a right to the inheritance. Your legal rights and benefits have set you high above the earth curse system of poverty, disease, and failure.

Imagine what this verse must have sounded like to an Israelite who had been a slave all their lives. In fact, all they knew was slavery as far back as they could remember. These are the words Moses spoke to the nation of Israel as they were heading out to enter the land of promise.
