Whew! All done for tonight! Time for some shut-eye. But never fear, my dears. Iâll be ready to fly the second my Tooth-o-Finder starts ting-ting-tinging. Iâve got my ears peeled for YOUR pearly whites!
To my two lovelies, Aunt Betty Boop and Uncle Honey Bun âS. B-R.
My deepest thanks to Susan Pearson, the BEST editor in the world, and to David Slonim, whose delightful illustrations always make me giggle.

Because she was a âmilitary brat,â Sheri Bell-Rehwoldt lost her baby teeth in Texas, Oklahoma, Utah, New Mexico, and Hawaii, but the tooth fairy always managed to visit. When Sheri had her wisdom teeth pulled at age 20, she put them under her pillow. Alas, the tooth fairy was no longer interested, so now they sit in Sheri's sock drawer, waiting to be made into earrings. Sheri is an award-winning magazine writer. She has also written five nonfiction children's books and has just penned a middle-grade novel about a boy who lives on a junk lot. This is her first picture book. She invites you to visit her Web site at www.bell-rehwoldt.com.
Although as a child David Slonim was never able to catch a glimpse of the tooth fairy, he amassed a small fortune in quarters by the age of eight. Today the father of four children, he claims he has finally seen the tooth fairy in action and knows exactly what she looks like. Now you do, too. David is the author-illustrator of Oh, Ducky! A Chocolate Calamity and, most recently, He Came with the Couch, âa rich and funny allegory. . . . At once irresistible and infectious.â (Time Out New York) You can visit Davidâs Web site at www.davidslonim.com.
