Stop using “man” as a catchall. “Man” has been used as a neutral term for all gender identities. We see it in phrases like “When man walked on the moon” or “all of mankind” or “man’s impact on the environment.” By using “man” to refer to all humans, it indicates that men are superior to other gender identities. Therefore, we should replace “man” with “human.” For example, we should use “humankind” and “human’s impact on the world.”

Don’t use gender identity adjectives as nouns. For instance, you do not want to say “the transgenders” or the “non-binaries,” as it takes away the human aspect of those gender identities. Instead, you’ll need to write “transgender people” or “non-binary people” or “people who identify as transgender/non-binary.”
