Illusions

“You still haven’t told me something” I say, lying beside Aria on a small rocky mountain. We can’t help but stare at the breathtaking view—beautiful stars dispersed across the Milky Way. The sea reflects the sky, and the waves move slowly, spreading a shimmering blue color when reaching the shore.

We finally found peace and escaped the limbo veil and the Dream Weaver’s grasp. Aria transported us to this secret refuge within the Dream Dimension, where she used to come when she wanted a break from everything.

“What’s on your mind?” Aria asks, her voice cutting through my thoughts.

“You mentioned there was something you might know about the power I have when we were escaping from the limbo veil,” I say, turning to face her, supporting my head on my hand. I’m curious to hear what she thinks about it. I believe in anything at this point. I’m somewhere in the universe talking with a friend who is not human, there’s nothing more magical than this.

Aria’s smile deepens as she turns her gaze to meet mine.

“You’re a manifesting generator,” she reveals.

I blink.

A what?

“Manifesting generator? Sounds like a term from a sci-fi movie,” I giggle.

Aria smiles with her eyes sparkling. “Well, in a way, it’s pretty amazing. You see, manifesting generators are a unique type of energy beings. They have this incredible ability to bring their desires to life in the world around them.”

“Wait, you mean like a wish granter?” I raise an eyebrow, intrigued.

She nods excitement in her voice. “Exactly! But it’s not about waving a magic wand. It’s about combining energy with intention, focusing on what you truly want, and taking inspired action. That’s where your power comes in.”

I process this information, feeling a sense of wonder building within me. “So, you’re saying I can make things happen just by thinking about them?”

Aria chuckles. “It’s a bit more than just thinking, though that’s where it starts. You managed to break through the curse that we were trapped in the limbo veil. You faced your fears head-on and shattered the barriers the dream weaver created. I believe you have the energy to turn your thoughts into vibration.”

I lean back against the rock, absorbing her words. It’s a lot to take in. “Okay, I think I’m starting to get it. But how do I use this power? I didn’t even realise I did when I shattered those mirrors and broke the curse. It just happened.”

“It’s not uncommon to initially use your power unconsciously. When you shattered those mirrors and broke the curse, your focused desire to end the nightmares likely generated a powerful vibration. It’s like sending out a strong signal to the universe; your power amplifies it into action. You’ll need to practice directing your thoughts and intentions clearly and purposefully. It’s a journey of understanding and harnessing the energy within you.”

It’s comforting to realize that I am unique in my own way, especially because I always believed nothing was special about me. It’s a power I never knew I had. It somehow connects me to Aria, the Dream Dimension, and the universe.
