Design

• Left side- set of straight bookshelves in decreasing lengths with one of the shelves in a shorter height to receive DVDs

• Right side- set of different sized compartments for the books, tall things etc.

• Except the bottom, every shelf is of 12” tall.

• T section sticks out 4 inches from shelf and 2 ½ high which supports to divide the room into sitting room and the study area .

Cutting

• Follow the safety measures when doing this.

• Use a circular saw in order to do cross-cuts to cut the boards to length. The cuts total is 49.

• To speed the process you can make a sled so that the saw rides in to make the perpendicular cuts with your mark out line.

• You can get boards from a box store and be careful when choosing.

• Arrange boards so the best side will be visible.

• After cutting, label the boards with the lengths.
