I kept my attention on Felix. I wasn’t done with him yet. I had no idea where all this was coming from, but I wasn’t about to stop.

“I don’t see millions of fans waiting in line for the midnight release of your quarterly reports or whatever the fuck you do! If you genuinely think all he does is sit around and make pretend stories up, then I was wrong and you’re just plain stupid. Worse, you’re a fucking idiot!” The words were spewing from my lips too quickly for me to process them, and I dimly became aware that my bicep was throbbing again. “And you clearly don’t know how hard he works, or how dedicated he is. You have no idea! You clearly don’t know him like…” My words slowed down as I realized what I was saying – what I was doing. “…I…” My hands turned into fists, my face hot and my voice harsh. “…do.”
