My mom pissed me off coming at Meadow for no reason. Then she had the nerve to try and make it up by having me stay there to talk to her. I tried to stay at the store a little longer to give them time but I started missing Meadow. I don’t know what she did but my ass was head over heels in love with her. Who knew a Boss nigga could fall in love? I never thought that shit was possible. Most bitches wanted and tried to get me for all I had but I was always a step ahead. I turned the car off and opened my moms’ door. Jesse was on the couch and my mom was in the kitchen pouring herself some soda. I looked around for my girl when I didn’t see her. I saw the bathroom door was closed and assumed she was in there.

“Meadow are you ok?” I asked knocking on the door. She unlocked the door and her face was red and puffy and she was hysterical crying. She pushed past me and went straight outside. I stopped in the living room where both my mom and brother were now sitting and asked them what happened. Neither one seemed to have a clue. I ran outside and Meadow was standing there.

“Baby, what is going on?”

“Nothing Gage. I just want to go home.”

“Fine but you’re coming home with me.”

“I don’t want to go to your house.”

“I don’t care what you want. You’re coming with me so I can make you feel better.” I lifted her chin and she smiled.

“Gage, I love you but if your brother is going to be there I’m not.”

“He told me he was staying out.”

“Are you sure?” I saw Maci pull up and I looked at Meadow.

“You called her?”

“You weren’t here yet and I was ready to go.”

“You coming Meadow.”

“No I have her.” Maci rolled her eyes and pulled off. I opened the door and Meadow got in. I didn’t even bother to tell my mom I was leaving. The minute we got to my house she ran upstairs and hopped in the shower. I locked the door and turned everything off. I was on my way up when Khalid sent me a text telling me to get to the warehouse. I sent Meadow a text and told her I would be back and she better be ready for me.

“What up bro?” I asked Khalid when I walked in. Him and Bruno were eating pizza when I got there. They started telling me how one of the spots were hit and how another one was missing money. We were all shocked being no one ever stole from us. The three of us were running shit here in Connecticut, Boston, Ohio and a few other places. We didn’t beef with too many motherfuckers that’s why we never worried about anyone stealing from us. To hear the shit is happening is mind-boggling. We made plans to go over the tapes in every spot and find out who was working.
