Meadow

2 months later

I sat at the vanity looking myself over in the mirror once again before I allowed my mom to place the veil on top of my head. Today was my wedding day; the day I married the man of my dreams. He planned everything and I didn't have to lift a finger. The church was packed with people, my soon to be husband was at the altar waiting for me but I couldn't move. It was like my body was frozen in this seat. The reflection of myself made me realize that not only was I about to take the biggest step in my life but I was going to be someone's wife. After everything that has happened in our lives the moment was finally here.

"Are you ready honey?" My dad asked when he stepped in the room. I shook my head no and everyone stepped out except my mom. He came to sit by me and I let my headrest on his shoulder.

"What's wrong Meadow? I thought this is what you wanted. Gage went through a lot to make this happen in a short amount of time.

"I know but I can't help but to think I won't be a good wife to him. What if he cheats again or has a baby on me? What if in a few years he doesn't want or love me anymore? What if?" He stopped me and lifted my chin to look at him.

"Meadow that man not only worships the ground you walk on but has gone to war with his family over you. There's nothing he won't do to keep you happy and as far as him stepping out I don't think that will ever happen again. The one time he did that man was at the house or calling everyday checking on you and asking your mom for ways to get you back. Meadow stop thinking about the what it's and think about how much you're going to enjoy being his wife and growing old together. Think about all the kids you guys are going to raise in that big ass house he brought you."

"I know daddy but."

"No butts. Karissa clean my baby's face off so I can get ready to walk her down the aisle. Let me go tell everyone a few more minutes. My two sisters walked in and immediately thought the worst. Maci assumed I called off the wedding and Melina thought he did something bad.

"There you go. Meadow you look beautiful." My dad said as we stood outside waiting for Melina and Maci to walk down with the guys. The flower girls started and then it was my turn. The doors opened and I can't even tell you what song was playing because I felt a sharp pain in my back and then I stumbled in to my dads’ arms. I saw the look of pain in his face and Gage along with Bruno and Khalid were running towards me.

"Daddy help me." I was going in and out of consciousness.
