Xavier

Xavier huffed as he walked out of Sean’s office. He let him get under his skin. That wasn’t in his character; at least his reformed character. The old Xavier would have punched him dead in the mouth, or put two bullets in his head, even with Spencer being there. He and Detective Spencer headed to their cars. Xavier paused and the detective turned to him.

“You may want to take a slight heed to his words. Sean Edwards is a suspected killer. Just watch out,” he warned him sternly.

“I think I can handle myself, besides, I am more than meets the eye.” Detective Spencer believed him and nodded. The detective’s phone rang, pausing the comment he was about to make. He held a finger up to give him a second so he could take the call. Xavier walked to his car. He sent a text and then went back over the altercation with Sean, in his mind. Yes, the man was definitely a loose cannon, but he didn’t know what he was capable of as well. Xavier was one of the top tactical trainers in his field. He had killed men; more than he ever wanted to remember. That was one of the reason’s he always tried to keep himself in check. When he went to that edge, it was always hard to come back. That sinister trainer was still a part of him, even as undercover as he kept it. Sean had tested him back there and he almost failed. He needed to do this the right way. No matter how much he wanted to throttle him, he had to show he was a better man. He had just gotten a text when Spencer walked back toward his car.

“I just received a call on a possible murder. I need to go check this out. I can meet you back at Alexis’ studio afterwards.”

“Ok, I have something I need to take care of. They shook hands and Xavier pulled off. He dialed a number.

“Hey, Terrance, I saw your text. Let’s meet.”
