How do you use it?

Getting good quality rosehip seed oil is not a simple matter. Look for the species name, Rosa affinis rubiginosa rather than the common name, “rosa mosqueta.” Buy from a reputable company. If the product is too cheap, be suspicious. Rosehip seed oil take lots of raw material and careful cold pressing to make.

Store the oil in the refrigerator; it goes rancid quickly. The essential oil is used without dilution. After the scab on the wound is gone, apply the oil every morning and evening. Don’t use the oil until the scab is completely gone, because the oil can slow healing. Put two or three drops on your finger and massage them into the scar for a minute. The massage helps the oil penetrate the skin and also helps break up the scar tissue.
