The forest was thick with vegetation and the smell of life teemed from every part of my surroundings. I had just mated with a member of The Tribe, though, which tribe, or what sorts of information was inherent to the landscape from this creature's perspective was beyond my awareness. Apart from a brief exchange of words prior to our union, not a word had been spoken between the shifter and myself for well over fifteen miles. One would think that an animal of that size would get tired after a period of time, but some combination of stamina, and familiarity with the environment brought a grace to his movements.
