HOW TO CLIP YOUR COUPONS
Seem like a no brainer? Well, there is a little more to this than you might think, especially for those of you who want to make things as easy as possible. If this sounds like you, then check out the steps below for making the most of your coupon clipping time!
1. Separate your inserts.
Buying multiple copies of the Sunday paper doesn’t mean that you have to sign on for cutting out the same insert over and over and over again. Not in the least. Remember, the idea here is to work smarter rather than harder!
So instead we are going to separate our inserts out so that we only have to do the work once and still get to enjoy the full benefit of each and every coupon in our stash.
Here is what I mean when I say to separate the inserts:
Find a large open surface like your dining room table or living room floor.
Open all of your papers and remove the inserts. Separate them into piles in front of you. If you had 5 papers and each was stuffed with 1 Red Plum and 1 SmartSource, you should now have 2 piles of 5 inserts each. One for Red Plum and one for SmartSource pile.
Pick an insert, say SmartSource.
Take the top insert and separate it out so that each page is starting its own pile.
Repeat this process with the remaining 4 SmartSource inserts until you have individual piles for each page.
Neatly stack your pages.
