Last night, I sat in the library and journaled everything I’ve learned about myself over the last year, the bulk of it from Jerome’s revelations yesterday morning. I ended up sitting the guys down after lunch and told them everything. I asked that we don’t talk about it again until we absolutely have to, especially the little bomb about me being immortal. Ross and Troy have been watching the cameras from the hotel in their new surveillance room on the third floor like hawks, and they haven’t found Nathan yet. They’re tracking every number that Jerome, Justin, and Frank were in contact with and they haven’t found any leads.

Penny and Danika are coming over today for a girl’s day and I’ve been following Maggie around all day to get her to join us. She finally agrees and I go upstairs to change into a bikini and put on a sundress and some sandals. I sit down in the living room and eat a snack while scrolling through my emails and wait for the girls to arrive.

“Ms. Strom, your friends have arrived.” Gerard calls from the foyer. I walk towards the front door while he lets them in, and I give the girls a hug.

“Hi! I let’s grab some drinks and head to the pool house.” We go through the kitchen and I grab some bottles of water while Penny chooses a bottle of wine and some silicone stemless glasses. We get settled by the pool and Maggie comes ambling in wearing a one-piece suit that shows absolutely nothing. “Come on, Maggie! Show some skin!” I snicker at her and walk down the steps into the water.

Penny chugs some wine and drags Danika into the pool. “Man, I would love to live here.” She climbs up on to Danika’s tall frame and wraps around her like a koala. They’re such a gorgeous couple, with Penny’s long red hair up in a messy bun, her blue eyes are alight and bright, and she’s wearing a hot pink bikini that barely covers her nipples over her breasts. Danika should be a damn model, her blonde hair is in two braids that go down her back, her blue eyes a few shades darker than Penny’s and she’s wearing a sporty, yellow tankini with booty shorts. She’s much taller than Penny and me, I sort of want to kick her. Both of them have such gorgeous features with their high cheek bones, thin button noses, and plump lips. Fuck, I need to get laid.

Danika gives me a kiss on the cheek. “You look amazing, Maya! You’re fucking glowing!”

I knock my shoulder into hers. “Says the fucking model.” We swim around for a few hours and try to get Maggie to relax and drink wine. The three of them start talking about some reality show while I float around in the water and close my eyes.

“Hey, Maya, I want to get my hair done, who do you use?”

I look over to her and wink. “I do it myself.
