I grabbed a clean pair of boxers from a drawer and pulled them on. “I’ll get the coffee.” I looked at the clock. “You have an hour before I need to drop you off. Do you want some breakfast?”

She shook her head, “It’s too early for food. I just need coffee, please.”

“You should eat; you’ll need your energy for tonight,” I said and watched her cheeks redden.

“I’ll have a big tea.” She smiled.

“I’m sorry I can’t be with you but this meeting is important.”

“It’s okay, Liam, I understand.”

“I know you do. I just want you to know how much I would rather be with you.”

“I know that. I also know that you’ll make it up to me later.”

“You bet I will. Now, I’m going to go before I push you down on the bed and have my way with you.
