* On 26 and 27 December, ECW and Request TV held a conference call to discuss the problems with ECW content and the steps needed to remain on PPV.

* On 30 December, Panero told the Torch it was still possible the event could air on Request TV. "We have not ruled out carrying them. But we need to know they are self-regulating." He said he had received about 40 e-mails from ECW fans complaining about the decision not to carry the event. "I find this whole thing almost childish," he said. "The issue would dissipate if ECW would just address the issues rather than inciting their cult following over this." He also repeated his denial of Request receiving a tape of the Revere incident, either from ECW or a third party. "We have never received a tape of this incident from anybody. If people think ECW sent us a tape to let us know about the problem, that's not true."
