“And what is he doing tonight?”

Jack freezes for a second, then scrubs a hand over his face. “Fuck. He didn’t even try to blow me in the jeep on the way over.”

I throw up my hands. “See?”

Jack groans quietly, crossing his arms over his chest as he leans back against the counter. “What the fuck, bro? Am I just a shitty boyfriend?”

“No, you’ve just been sex deprived for too long⁠—”

He snorts, raising an eyebrow, and damn. I feel my face flushing with heat.

I clear my throat. “That doesn’t count.”

Jack and I have been… getting closer the last few days. And I know, right? Shocks the shit out of me that it’s even possible to feel closer than we already were, but I can’t deny that ever since he made me blow him after Nico left, things have gotten different.
