Chase left the executive suite smiling. Edward Eastman let her see a side of him that not many did. He was a man of few words who wielded an iron fist over his company. But for Chase, he gave his blessing and an out.
If they pick Becca, which I expect they will, there will be no gossip about her getting the job because she’s sleeping with me. She’s not yet but she will be or I’m way off base.
Even though there was a pile of work for her on her desk, Chase decided to visit each of the PA’s turned temporary managers and see if they needed anything or were having any problems. She normally would let someone else handle the situation but it was a way to see Becca again without garnering suspicion.
