Taranis: I want everyone to start raising hell across the Kingdom of Sails. Be careful not to harm our allies, but we need to start stretching the royal resources as thin as possible.

Kalen: Try and focus on raiding fleet bases, if possible. There is a lot of valuable resources there.

Friday: You just want your guild tax!

Kalen: We don’t have a guild tax. What are you talking about?

Lox and Felix were the last to arrive at the designated meeting place, an outdoor eating area that wouldn’t feel out of place in a modern city. “Sorry we are late,” Felix said. “Lox decided to take a little catnap in the shop.”

“That’s not what that was,” Lox grumbled as the others laughed.

“No worries,” Zirkseas assured them. “We had been going over what I found and what I was thinking of for a plan.”

Lox glanced around at the other patrons seated not too far away. “Here, with all these people around?”

“Not to worry,” Zirkseas assured him. “I picked up a spell on the way back. It’s a sound dampening spell that has a strong enough effect to allow us to talk as long as we aren’t loud.”

Lox nodded in understanding as he took a seat. There was a pitcher of cider on the table along with a mug to pour himself a glass. “So, what is the plan so far?”

“Well,” Zirkseas leaned forward, speaking quietly, “I have found his route, and I do believe the best place for us to conduct our operation will be later this evening on his way home.”

“Can you tell if he is corrupted?” Lox asked. He was all for helping Zirkseas assassinate someone, but if they were corrupted, it was all the better.

“They are indeed,” Zirkseas assured him. “I cannot see it like you can, but he is definitely awake, and not in a good way.”

“I hope you are right,” Zara said. “Taking out un-awakened will get me in trouble with Sethena if it is the good type of awakened.”

“Let’s just assume he is,” Lox said. “And when we go to take him out, I will check. If he is the right type, we can back off.”

Zirkseas frowned but nodded. They all agreed taking out un-awakened was something they wanted to avoid doing for a lot of reasons. One of which was it would have amounted to murder, and the other, then they would be likely be smote by the gods, and even Altor.
