Self-acceptance is being okay with who you are, embracing yourself with all of your beautiful flaws as well as your gifts. This doesnât mean you donât want to become a better version of yourself, but it does mean each day you accept where youâre at and are comfortable being in that space.
Without self-acceptance, your mental health suffers and anxiety, depression, addiction, and other health concerns can begin to creep in. You must love yourself and believe that you are worth loving in order to thrive. We tend to direct a lot of negativity toward ourselves for not being stronger, better, smarter, more attractive, or any number of other traits. What if you could accept all of the things about yourself and realize that you already are strong, smart, and exquisite in your own individual ways?
If you allow your mind to be free from things that do not serve it well, such as negative self-talk, that is when your personal energies will be able to soar. Your mind will become unburdened and open to create powerful change in all areas of your life. Those negative aspects take up space that would be better allotted to making yourself more confident and prosperous, or channeled toward reaching new heights in your witchcraft practice.
Coming into yourself, knowing your true self, and loving every bit of that self is when your wellness and your magic will both begin to flourish and your magical wellness path will become that much clearer.
