They all gathered at the picnic table and had ribs and a huge steak cooked to perfection. The corn muffins were the perfect texture and moisture. The coleslaw was also the ideal side dish, along with home made baked beans. Just when James and Aaron thought they couldn’t eat any more. Danielle emerged from the house with a still hot apple pie and a bucket of vanilla ice cream. It was the perfect ending for a very productive day.

The apple pie was amazing. James thought about how Amita would have loved the pie. Danielle brought it right out from the oven so she had to warn them that the filling would likely burn them if they didn’t let it sit for a little bit. The flavour was fantastic with just the right amount of cinnamon to give it the taste they all enjoyed. James laughed to him self at the thought of Amita not recognising him when he got home due to his sudden weight gain. But it was certainly worth it.
