Carrying The Conversation

Another key thing to think about is expressing your own opinions. Don’t wait for her to carry the conversation the whole time. You need to proactively offer opinions of yours on anything and everything. Don’t focus on the content, but rather the emotion you put behind it. If you do this, she will be interested. Something to think about is that when you start offering your opinions so will she. This inevitably leads to awesome conversation and she’ll feel more attracted to you since you are leading. One big trap that a lot of guys fall into is the “ball is in your court method.” What this entails is a guy ending a topic of discussion and then just waiting for the girl to carry the conversation. This is especially bad to do in the opening and the middle part of the interaction. This is not to be confused with letting the conversation breathe and enjoying some silences after you get to know her much better. The weight of carrying the conversation is on you. It is your role as a man to carry it from the start and make her feel at ease.

Use what we talked about earlier and stay away from obvious and boring questions over text. Do not talk about the weather or how her day was. Women hear these questions a thousand times each year. Stand out and stay far away from logical questions. Also I would shy away from politics, religion, and other heavily debated topics that are always controversial. They can bring out negative emotions very quickly. Save them for later down the road when you know her on a deeper and more trusting level. Try to keep topics as personal as you can over text because we want to show as much of your personality to the girl as we can.

Talk about subjects that are important to you. When you do this you come off as being more passionate and more charismatic. It’s really a winning combination when you hit on a topic like this and it shows a whole new interesting side of you. Avoid boring topics like the plague. If something is boring to you, it’s going to be ten more times boring to her. If you find yourself droning on about something you really don’t care about, then cut it out.

Have enough social acuity to realize she is not responding well over text and change to a different subject. If she is not giving you any signs of interest or asking you any questions then that probably means you need to steer the interaction in a different direction.

If you made a great impression on the girl when you first met her and got her number then she is going to want the interaction to go well. She wants you to text her. In fact, if you made a great enough impact then she’s probably hoping that you text her. Because of this you should never have to rely on the perfect text message to send.
