The woman’s voice was murmuring to her soothingly. She wasn’t to be afraid, that Jasmine had to stay in her hiding place and not make a sound. That if she didn’t, then the monsters would get her.

Jasmine whimpered, winding her skinny arms around the woman’s neck in fear. She didn’t want the monsters to get her. These ones weren’t like those under her bed. These ones were real. Even the woman was scared of them.

Suddenly she was alone, her arms empty. Jasmine shivered at the chill in the air. The room she was in was bare apart from the makeshift mattress she was laying on. A blanket was wrapped tightly around her, hiding her little form. Reaching out, she grabbed hold of her scruffy teddy and hugged it close.

Raised voices penetrated the thick wood of the door. Someone was sobbing, pleading. The other voices though, were angry and cold. They didn’t seem to care.

Light flickered beneath the crack at the bottom of the doorway. Pressing her face into the worn fur of her stuffed companion, Jasmine squeezed her eyes shut as screams rose from outside. The monsters had found them.

Jasmine woke with a start from the strange new nightmare. She did not know where it had come from, but it left her feeling unsettled. There was a dull thudding in her head and her mouth felt dry. Groaning, she tried to roll over. The solid muscle of a male chest prevented the movement. Opening her eyes a crack she was met by a sleepy lavender gaze.

“What happened?” Jasmine managed to croak. It felt like her throat was full of sandpaper. The light from the bedside lamp was making her wince. Why did everything have to be so bright?

“You got drunk, cara. I brought you upstairs to bed.” Asier informed her with a teasing wink.

Eyes widening she stared up at him in shock. “Ohmygod, did we....I mean did you?”

The Italian dipped down slightly, his breath tickled her cheek. “If we’d had sex Jasmine, I promise you it wouldn’t be something you would forget.” He murmured, his tongue licking the curve of her neck making her shiver.

She could feel every chiselled muscle of his chest and abs. The vampire drew back. When their eyes connected she didn’t miss the heated spark in his gaze. Nor the ghostly skim of his sexual energy. It sent a flash of fiery need from her belly to her groin. Her nipples hardened painfully and her breathing increased. Jasmine leapt away and off the bed. She was thankful to find she was wearing a man’s shirt and her panties. A lot of the night before was jumbled.

Scrambled memories began to play through her aching head. She and Gemma had gotten drunk. Frowning, she tried to stitch together the missing pieces.

Jasmine froze in horror. Asier had spanked her while everyone had watched. Suddenly, the memory of being on her knees hit her. Hands gripping the back of the vampire’s legs as he had thrust his cock savagely in and out of her mouth.
