105. Antifungal Cream: While we’re on the topic of anti-itch cream, it would be a good time to bring up antifungal cream. If you’ve ever had a bad case of athlete’s foot, you know just how uncomfortable the incessant itching can be. Not only can antifungal cream help to alleviate the irritating itching, it may also help control the fungus that is causing the problem in the first place.

106. Bug Spray: Speaking of mosquitoes and biting insects, having access to some form of a bug spray, such as mosquito repellent, can help prevent some of the discomfort that might come from being bitten by these types of insects.

If you have livestock, such as horses, that you intend to use for transportation or other chores during a doomsday scenario, it would be a good idea to take the time to store a supply of fly spray that is specifically designed for use on them.

107. Mosquito Netting: Being bitten by mosquitoes can be more than just a minor inconvenience. Mosquitoes have been known to spread diseases such as malaria. Having mosquito netting or a mosquito hood that you can wear over your head can help prevent being bitten by these nasty little critters. If you end up having to camp in a heavily mosquito-infested area, life could be quite miserable without some way of protecting yourself from them.
