Preparation Technique:

First, wash the fennel thoroughly, remove the stems and woody parts and cut into small pieces.

Heat the oil, fry the spices - except for pepper and salt - for a few seconds, then add the chopped chicken and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Now add water, salt, and pepper, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat in a closed pot

Cook for 20 minutes. Fish out the bay leaves and puree the soup with a blender. Keep warm on a small flame.

Finally, melt the margarine in a small saucepan till brown, add the flour briefly with stirring. Now add the soy drink; Stir constantly with a whisk to prevent lump formation until a thick sauce is formed.

Pour this mixture into the soup and let it boil again briefly. Serve hot with chapatis.

Soy drink burns fast! Before you pour, you should keep it on a hot plate in a cast-iron pot.
