“Thanks for coming,” Maine said when the dragonfly tech fairy stepped into the kitchen, a briefcase gripped in her hand.

“My pleasure. Wow, you must have had an epic fight in here. What did this? A rabid dire wolf?”

“Well,” Maine said, “something like that. Noff has turned into an evil werewolf.”

Blue Dots gasped, then hefted the briefcase she was holding. She set it on top of a countertop and listened with eager ears as Maine briefly explained what had happened.

“That’s so terrible!”

Maine nodded. “What’s in the case?”

“My drones!” Blue Dots said as she opened it. “Let me show you them.” With deft hands, the dragonfly fairy extracted four tiny drones from the case in the shape of dragonflies. Each of them had an expensive-looking camera built into the nose. “Top of the line and magically enhanced. These things can see even on the darkest and cloudiest of nights. They’ve got infrared heat sensing too. I’m going to get them set up so we can try to find Baba Yaga.”

“We’ve already found Baba Yaga. But maybe you could send the drones out in the forest now so we can find Noff?”

Blue Dots’ eyes widened. “Yes! We should do that. Give me a few minutes to do some tweaking, and they’ll be ready. Ooh, I’ve always wanted to go on a werewolf hunt.”
