Collector Scott Fortner is fortunate enough to own some of Marilyn’s Erno Laszlo cream. “There are still trails in the product from Marilyn’s fingers,” he says. “I call it my ‘Marilyn was here’ moment.”

Marilyn was well-known for wearing Chanel No. 5 perfume, and photos of her holding the famous bottle are classics. However, there was another fragrance the private woman enjoyed just as much: Rose Geranium by London perfumer Floris. “Rose Geranium was introduced to the range in 1890, when pink geranium, palmarosa, and rose were added to the existing geranium scent,” says Floris director Edward Bodenham.
