Star Jump

Stand with feet hip-width apart and lower into a half-squat with your arms bent in front of you and hands around shoulder level (like you’re at the top of a biceps hammer curl). Jump up and out into a Star Pose, with legs wide apart and arms outstretched straight to the sides (as shown by Bettie). Do 20 per set.

Rear Lunge to Knee-Up and Bicep Curl

Stand with feet hip-width apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand. Step your right leg back into a lunge, making sure that your left knee doesn’t come past your toes (to protect your knees). In a continuous motion, push off the right foot to return to an upright position and tap the toes to the floor before bringing the right knee up in front of you until your right thigh is roughly parallel to the floor. As you lift the knee, do a biceps curl with the left arm, then lower the arm as you lower your right foot to the floor, tapping it lightly before lunging back again for the next rep. Complete a total of 12 reps on each side.
