With the line cut at Bellevue, the LSE was forced to operate shuttles over the two severed segments. On the east end, double-ended Barney & Smith cars ran from Ceylon Junction through Norwalk to this spot on the town’s far east side, where passengers were taxied to complete their trips or connect with cars on the western end.
