As the two women approached Austin's kingdom the sun had finally started to rise just as snow began to fall.
“It's gorgeous,” said Anna in awe as she gazed down the hill and onto the green pastures and land below.
“Welcome to the land of acceptance and freedom. This is Kingdom Divine.”
“Kingdom Divine? I love the name.”
“Yes, my family calls it Kingdom Divine because of all its fine people, wines, foods, and wealth. We help all people so that everyone prospers, and all walks of life are accepted.”
“What are we going to do now?” inquired Anna.
“We're off to see the castle and meet my parents,” said Austin as they headed toward the castle.
As they grew closer to the castle, people recognized the horse and rider and took a knee to bow down to royalty. Being royalty herself, Anna was familiar with the process, but was embarrassed since she was not properly dressed.
“Would you tell my parents that I have arrived from my journey?” Austin hopped off of his horse and gave the reigns to his help. He helped Anna off before the man left with the horse.
Austin and Anna went into the dining area to sit with his parents. “Mother, father, I would like for you to meet Princess Anna. If she should have me, she will be my bride and help me to reign over Kingdom Divine when my time comes to take over.”
“Welcome,” said the king.
“Yes, welcome!” exclaimed the queen. “And how do you like our kingdom so far?”
“Oh, it's gorgeous. The name is fitting! It really is divine! And it is so much larger than my own kingdom!”
“Do you wish to eat?” asked the queen.
“No, mother. We have both already eaten, but I wish to show Anna the castle before she makes her decision.”
“Won't you at least take off your helmet?” asked Austin's father. The queen nudged him with her elbow and shook her head.
“No, father. If Anna chooses me as her groom, then I will remove my helmet after we take our vows. She has yet to see me.”
Anna was already smitten with Austin's charm and personality, but she knew she would never be attracted to the opposite sex. If she had to choose a prince for her parent's sake, then she thought she could surely make a life with Austin. Perhaps they could have a life together and he would be understanding that they were not to have sexual relations.
As they ventured into the castle and explored all the rooms and halls, Anna found that the castle was much larger and more luxurious than her own castle. She was also pleased with how Austin opened doors for her and the way he treated her like a lady.
“I liked what you did with the band of thieves,” blurted Anna when they were nearly done with their tour of the castle. “You didn't have to battle them or kill them, you simply outsmarted them. I like that.”
Just before they were about to go back to the dining area, Anna stopped in a room full of armor, shields, and crests hanging on the bricked wall.
