I meant to write a story or something, I really did, but it was just so hard. To sit there, at the computer, and, like, think of something. I’d get home, and there’d be something on, and I’d need to listen to the music to get in the right mood, and then Stacy and Sheldon would come over to hang out, and then I’d need to do, you know, my stupid math homework. Stacy wanted to tell me about her crushes, Sheldon wanted to talk about the band he’d heard, Icy Death Spike or The Big Pussies.

My therapist kept telling me I could show her my writing if I needed to, but really, what’s the point? It’s practically as pointless as writing for the newspaper. Totally dumb. I’m too smart for this stuff.
