Chapter 4

The second the doors to Laurent’s bedroom closed behind them, Seth pinned him against them with his body and again captured Laurent’s mouth with his. He immediately took absolute control of the kiss, claiming Laurent’s mouth as his own in every way possible. Tongue licking and exploring. Lips firm and unyielding. Teeth nipping.

Laurent, helpless and powerless to do anything more than shiver and whimper beneath him, gripped the lapels of Seth’s jacket and tugged him impossibly closer. He smelled of fire and wind, and engulfed Laurent under his large, muscular frame with ease. It’d be so simple to burn to a crisp right here, right now, and be eternally grateful for the opportunity.

Everything about Seth brought Laurent to life. Stirred and woke something deep inside of him. A primal instinct; sordid desires hidden in the deepest, darkest parts of his soul waiting for the right moment to burst free. Laurent thought he knew himself well enough to no longer be surprised by his own reactions and cravings and needs.

Apparently, even after more than a century and a half of living, Laurent was still capable of learning new things about himself, same as everyone else. All it took was a trespassing werewolf and a night filled to the brim with boredom.

When Seth, his commanding mouth not breaking away from their kissing for even an instant, placed his palm over Laurent’s rock-hard erection, Laurent nearly cried with pleasure. If he wasn’t already pushed against the door, the back of his head likely would have slammed into it. He’d been touched this way many, many times over the years, but this felt different. The delight that rivered through him now was unlike anything he’d ever experienced. Any second now, he’d soar through uncharted skies filled with bright stars and fluffy clouds ready to cradle him in their warm, silken embrace. All from some kisses and light touches.

“S-Seth…” he whimpered against Seth’s lips.

“Mmm?”

Still, Seth did not stop. In fact, Laurent saying his name only made him begin to rub his hand between his legs. He kissed more deeply and then pinched Laurent’s bottom lip between his teeth hard enough to make him wince and hiss in pain. The perfect amount of luscious pain sent a tremble up Laurent’s spine, tingles throughout his body, and a jolt to his prick. When Seth released that strong hold on him, he took to feathering his lips up Laurent’s throat, the tip of his tongue slipping out ever so slightly and finally causing Laurent to thunk his head against the door.

“I…er—what I mean is…” Laurent couldn’t think. At least not about anything other than the glitter and sparkle outlining everything. The entire room shimmered with it. “I n-need…”

After a few more unsuccessful attempts at expressing himself—quite a pointless endeavor, as it were, considering he hadn’t any coherent thoughts left in his mind—Laurent gave up and moaned as the tip of Seth’s nose nuzzled the spot between his clavicles. Knees trembling and head spinning, Laurent wondered how he managed to stay upright and concluded it was only due to the big warm presence keeping him in place.
