The papers first explained why he is a god, then told the tale of how he had become one… Someone wrote maliciously: “He is not a god!” And anyone who still harboured doubts immediately realised he was indeed a god. Then one clever person published an article entitled: “Is he always a god?” And everyone immediately realised that he is not always a god, that he is often not a god at all, and is in fact god only knows who…

So do you think he ceased being a god? No, not in the least! For one who has been a god but for an instant is already a god; one who has been a human but for one teardrop is not yet a human, but close, so close…
