33 sts and 39 rows = 4 in. / 10 cm in stranded colorwork pattern in the round, taken after blocking

PATTERN NOTES

The cowl is worked in the round, from bottom to top, using stranded colorwork.

This cowl is grafted together at the end to create the folded over / double thick fabric to provide structure for the cowl.

Written instructions are provided for the construction of the cowl; charts are provided for the colorwork pattern.

The larger needle is used to knit the outer layer of the cowl, and the smaller needle is used to knit the inner layer. The small needle should be 1 needle size smaller than the large needle when gauge is met.
