Instructions:

Preheat the grill to high heat.

Mash bread and milk in a small bowl with the help of a fork until chunky paste forms.

Add salt, pepper, ketchup, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce to the bread mixture.

Put the scallions and ground beef in the bread mixture and mix properly until combined well.

Divide the meat mixture into 8 portions of equal size and give it a shape of a patty.

Grease the grill with oil lightly and grill each side of the beef patties until well-cooked.

Toast the buns on the cooler side of the grill and transfer one patty to each bun.

Top the beef patty with lettuce and cheese slice.

Serve the beef burgers immediately with ketchup or any other sauce of your choice.
