Now she’s sitting at the kitchen table with her head in her hands. She’s run out of people to ring. I haven’t told her about the petunias yet, but she’s going to see them soon, and then I don’t know what will happen.

To be honest, Uncle M, I’m a bit worried about her. I asked about mending the fridge and she said, “What’s the point? The dragon will just make another hole in it.”

I suppose she’s right, but even so, it would be good to have somewhere to keep the milk.
