CREDITING THE PROJECT TEAM

After completion of the project, the deliverables for communicating the results may include scholarly project submissions to the university, a manuscript submitted for publication, public presentations of the result of projects, or practice portfolios. See Chapter 15 , Disseminating the Results . Because the committee has provided substantial guidance regarding process and content for the DNP project, crediting the project faculty mentor and/or project team members in the publications and presentations is a way to recognize their contributions.

The DNP student should seek guidance from his or her doctoral student handbook and/or the project faculty mentor for the university’s policy or usual procedure on crediting the project team and other acknowledgments of significant contributors to the DNP project when communicating results.
