RGB TO CMYK CONVERSION

Earlier in this book, I highly recommended that you work in CMYK mode rather than RGB mode. Here’s another reason why. Because the RGB mode is intended mainly for viewing colors on a computer monitor (as opposed to being viewed on the printed page), RGB colors are often extremely vibrant, almost electric in appearance. After all, your monitor is made up of zillions of little lights shining directly at your face! When converted to CMYK and then printed as ink on paper, there’s no way those same colors can possibly appear nearly as bright.
