Juice Pulp Sorbet

Ingredients

3 cups fruit pulp

4 ripe bananas

Dash cinnamon, ginger, or nutmeg (optional)

Freeze the pulp in ice cube trays and then pulse in a blender or food processor, along with the bananas and spices. Scoop into bowls and serve. Leftovers can be frozen again in ice cube trays and then re-blended to serve.

Pulp Crackers

Ingredients

2 cups vegetable pulp

½ cup flax meal or chia seeds (or a mixture)

1 tablespoon tamari

½ cup water

Cayenne, or other spices to taste

Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Spread on a food dehydrator sheet or on a well-greased baking pan. Score into squares. Dehydrate or bake at 120°F for about 12 hours, flip, and dehydrate for another 12 hours.
