PITFALL

At times, the Android OS develops faster than the hardware market. Pressure and temperature sensors are not consistently implemented, if at all, in current devices. While light, acceleration, proximity, and orientation sensors are widely implemented and supported, other sensors referenced in the Android SDK may vary in implementation between devices.
