Zev gives a mango 35 minutes of heaven...

My driver comes a minute after Fiona’s Uber pulls away, or rather a minute after I say no to going home with the sexiest woman in all of New York City.

Why did I do it? Why did I say no to the woman who’s literally compromising my every waking thought?

Because if I’m ever going to say yes, it’s going to be because I’m prepared and capable of shaking her world.

And…there’s also the very real possibility that this could turn into something more than a ‘friends with benefits’ situation. Before I do anything, I have to know what she wants. What her intentions are. Because everything I knew I wanted in life just got thrown out the window.

I have to be careful with this one. Why is that exactly?

Because after introducing her to my friends, I’m beginning to realize that Fiona Fables just might be ‘the One.’

The One I hadn’t imagined myself finding until I was in my late thirties. The One I eventually get to travel through my life with. The One I will one day meet at the end of the aisle while a Mariah Carey song plays in the background—because don’t you judge me!

The One that makes me forget all others.

And I need to know if she feels the same way about me. Or if I’m just a means to relieve her built-up tension. Which I’m more than happy to do, but I need to know if that’s all I am to her.

My phone rings and I look to see a test from Cassius.

Cassius: Have Fiona apply in three days to position #709856 on my company webpage. Peggy Sue is opening the position now just for her.
