“You’re imagining things,” Curtis said as he moved about the bedroom trying his best to avoid Haydree.

“Do you see them?” Haydree screamed as she held up eight strands of blond hair between her thumb and forefinger. She’d gone searching, finding two more in the bathroom, three on the couch, one on the floor in the kitchen and two on her pillow.

“Yeah, I see it, Haydree, but I don’t know where they came from.”

Curtis’s composure was breaking down, his voice was beginning to waver and there were small beads of sweat forming around his hairline.

“The bitch is white and going bald!” Haydree screamed and rushed at Curtis, smashing all eight hairs into his face.

“Bastard.” She spat and walked out of the house.
