Cut a piece of wood as long as your handle.
After sanding both handle and riser, glue them together. You should select wood that looks good, as opposed to the boring wood in the limbs. In a non-bending handle like this, the wood should be under no real stress, so this is a good place to put some knotty, curly, quilted, burly, and other crazy grained wood not suited for bow limbs.
Clamp the handle overnight to allow it time to dry.
Once the handle is dry, take the clamps off, then clamp it to your work area (bench, railing, chair, etc.).
