21. The Sanskrit word âmandalaâ (literally, âcircleâ) is commonly used in the esoteric Spiritual traditions of the East to mean a symbolic depiction of the hierarchical levels of cosmic existence. Adi Da Samraj has revealed that the Cosmic Mandala can be visually perceived as a pattern of concentric circles (or fields) of distinct colors, with a brilliant white five-pointed Star at the center. (See also Avatar Adi Daâs description of the process that occurred in the Ruchira Dham Event, in section VI, âDivine Translationâ.)
22. A term coined by Avatar Adi Da Samraj for the unknown (and unknowable) determining Factor, the Unaccountable Divine Mystery on Which conditional existence depends.
23. Avatar Adi Da was referring to the entire global human population at that time. Thirty years later, as of this publication in 2017, the global human population is estimated to be approximately 7.5 billion.
24. These three terms are Avatar Adi Daâs final verbal formulations describing the fundamental dimensions of the Reality-Way of Adidam. Those dimensions of Adidam were always aspects of Avatar Adi Daâs Teaching from the beginning, and specifically part of what He Called to be demonstrated in 1986.
25. This is a reference to practitioners in the Second Congregation of Adidam. Avatar Adi Da also offers the possibility of a simple but formal devotional relationship to Him for those who do not embrace all three of these dimensions of practice. See âApproaching Avatar Adi Da Samraj via One of the Four Congregations of Adidam Ruchiradamâ.
26. The Lay Congregationist Order is comprised of Avatar Adi Daâs Second Congregation devotees, who are adapting to and demonstrating the foundation practice of Adidam. Lay Congregationists provide general service to the institutions and work of Adidam.
Relative to the Name of the Order, Avatar Adi Da writes:
âMelroseâ refers to Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, California, which was the location of the building in which I originally, in 1972, Established the yet-foundationally-maturing general lay form of practice for My devotees. The placename âMelroseâ means âcropped meadowâ, or âwell-tended and âdisciplinedâ fieldâ.
27. The Forward Lay Congregationist Order is comprised of those general lay practitioners (in contrast to formal renunciate practitioners) who are practicing in the context of the First Congregation of Adidam Ruchiradam (see âApproaching Avatar Adi Da Samraj via One of the Four Congregations of Adidam Ruchiradamâ).
Relative to the Name of the Order, Avatar Adi Da writes:
âClear-Lakeâ refers to The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary (which is located near the large body of water in Northern California known as âClear Lakeâ), where I originally, in the years 1974â1977, Worked to Establish the fully foundationally-adapted general lay form of practice for My devotees. The placename âClear-Lakeâ means âbright body of waterâ.
28. Avatar Adi Da describes more fully the meaning of these names:
âMuliwaiâ refers to the place on the island of Oahu, in Hawaii, where I originally, in 1978, Established the lay form of renunciate practice for My devotees. The placename âMuliwaiâ means âestuaryâ, or âconfluence of river and oceanâ.â¦
âNaitaubaâ refers to Adi Da Samrajashram, the reef-encircled
